HR: Where do you see yourself in five years?
Me:
@sjvn retired on Canary Islands coding for fun my own off the grid cyberpunky all year summer time digital fort and having breaks floating in beach close ocean waters, enjoying good wine and food and watching NBA and NFL whenever I find free time.
I’ll become too old to chase robots with guns, and I’m too old for that, you’re definitively too old yourself Steve

@hollowone
Not too close to the beach.
You know, rising oceans and things ...

@sjvn@AAMfP @sjvn are we still talking about volcanic islands that almost immediately get +2m above the sea level, which is what is predicted to raise +100 years from now?
I'm pretty sure this is still the problem of people who will be fighting terminators more than me on my retirement plan.
I'm more worried about WWIII happening during my lifetime than sea level raising too much, to be honest. Sea rising is more of millennial generation problem and cry about and solve. I'll be dead already. Until I focus on the question +5 years from now. not +100.
