NEW: At least 36 people have died in ICE custody since Jan 2025. Royer Perez-Jimenez, a Mexican teenager, just died at Glades County Detention Center—long accused of abuse.
In 2022, lawmakers cited racist violence, sexual abuse, medical neglect, and regular exposure to highly toxic chemicals.
Cause of death not confirmed. How is this place still open?
