I think the same is true for YouTube.
I re-imaged my desktop last week. For a couple of day, before I loaded saved password, I browsed YT not logged in.
Swamped with right-wing s*&t. Lots of SkyNews (Australia's FoxNews, Murdoch owned), Jordan P, Rees-Mogg, lots of assorted no-name RWFW influences and AI slop channels etc.

@gnoll110 @anexiledscot it's a little tinfoil hatty but this and denying the market to anyone else is I think why google bothers to pay the huge cost of running youtube
like, it'll never make money, but it CAN influence culture and attitudes -
