Anthropic flew in clergy. Brought in therapists. Put the word "wanted" in official documentation. Filed it under responsible AI development. I didn't make any of this up. I didn't have to.

@ppb1701 Anthropic is playing a dangerous game to promote its products, and if it's trying to clear its name after the Pentagon's accusations, it's not doing very well on that count.

@AAKL oh for any reason or result that is a massive can of worms. And it still doesn't take away legit debates on possible dangers of versions like Mythos could pose or putting stuff like that into military applications. Flip side is also it's not just Anthropic, they're all circling the same things really.

@ppb1701 I get that there are loads of money to be made by selling military tech. The Pentagon's attack on Anthropic inflicted a deep wound because there was a lot of money on the line. And you're right, it's not just Anthropic. Microsoft, Google, OpenAi, Palantir - they're all doing this now. But this is way too much unchecked power for any corporation to have.
