Nothing but blue skies on the Fediverse today even as a major Mastodon instance falls.

Today, the flagship, and most widely used Mastodon instance, crashed under a DDoS attack but my selfhosted timeline and the fediverse kept on chugging as if nothing happened, including my federated WordPress ActivityPub site, with exception to absent Mastodon.Social content.

The other day, not so true for AT and Bluesky. #DDOS
