@cstross I always felt a little sorry for Lord Satan when she went there, she has probably shut half the Furnaces, sold the rest to Private enterprise and is now rationalising the Torture regimes.
God is hiding (hence the worlds problems) in case she manages to get into Heaven by a backdoor and starts making angels and saints redundant.

@oldcoder Never seen the film: read the graphic novel compilation a decade or so ago. It's very Nigel Farage. (Thatcher was on the same continuum but didn't feel enabled to show her skullface in polite company.)
