As I've been asking for years: if Donald Trump were working to further Russia's interests above those of the U.S., what would he be doing differently?

The answer, really, is "nothing". Sure, one might argue on some of the details about whether this or that is the very best strategic thing for Russia - but, generally? It's hard to look at his years in and out of office as anything but a strategic, systematic dismantling of U.S. power, resources, and society.
The U.S. was certainly not perfect before Trump took office -- it has made numerous fissures and injustices much more visible -- but his "movement" has attacked anything that is or was good about the U.S. while amplifying all the country's worst qualities and injustices.

@jzb That's a very succinct summary.
Best of luck with fixing it I guess?
Said allies are all fixing it by pivoting away from the U.S. Not much more we can do really.
