@emily_rugburn oh boy does it ever. I almost mentioned in the post that the worst part is going without food for ~24 hours.

@Karstan that part didnt bother me as much as having gut wrenching pain for 10 hours, not sleeping because you have to go to the bathroom every hour for 8 hours, and the worst part: you end up puking up all the pills and miralax, you have to start all over again

@emily_rugburn oh dang! I didn't experience any of that. I lucked out. I mean there was some unpleasantness but not nearly as bad as all that.

@Karstan my mom puked everything up...i didnt at least but i got pretty close.

i seriously thought i was going to die. the propofol was amazing though.

i was lucky in the sense that i dont need to get another done for 8 years and hopefully the prep wont be as bad in a decade-ish.

@emily_rugburn I don't much get it either. I've been vegan for nearly 29 years! I don't smoke and rarely drink. I thought those were the biggest risk factors?!!?

Meanwhile, my big sister who eats a SAD and only recently started exercising had a 100% clean bill of health on hers.
