        @mwt @HamonWry It depends on the income of the single earner.

        To be fair, we still have too many underhoused or homeless people (Canada isn't unique in this regard, but that doesn't make it right) and in certain areas of the country, buying a "starter" home is still out of reach of many people depending on their income. But I would like to think it's getting better, even based on the amount of new construction in my area.
