Having an interesting time setting up a desktop for someone and their daughter. I believe the child is around 10 and they need some educational apps installing and #Linux #Mint configuring.

I've added a few #Tux themed games and #gcompris.

The more I used #Cinnamon the more I hate it.

I think there is also a xfce version of linux mint.

@Fred_Fire I believe you can install any of the standard desktop systems, but they are only second class citizens. There are different flavours available as images but their focus is clearly on their own Cinnamon desktop.

I just prefer KDE, and can't get on with gtk based systems.
