By last fall most auto manufacturers in the USA had scaled back or canceled EVs, focusing instead on combustion engines or Hybrids. Domestic manufacturers were happy that the laws were changed and returned to churning out pickups and SUVs, while Japanese and Korean car companies returned to hybrids and kept their battery strategies for other parts of the world.

@paulbusch I have a hybrid. In in Alberta and 9 months of the year I only use gas for long road trips. We charge at home from solar for daily travel.
