It was critically important to Albertans that Quebeckers take their share of debt (a headline almost every day in Ab news back then), so we need to tally the numbers for a per capita debt for every Albertan. The buy back in is less easy to calculate but the EU has set a rate here that we can benchmark.

Interesting point but it legitimizes an illegitimate movement.
It gives the province of Alberta a stature beyond its mere creation by an act of Parliament from land covered by treaties with the First Nations.

Fair point, but sometimes you need to fight fire with fire. As fear is the social fire that fascism uses, we need to use it against them. The traitor separatist losers in Alberta have no clue that their referendum is bunk and they will easily believe (fear) that they will be saddled with debt, so lets run with it. -

Ab Popn/Cdn Popn = 5/41 M = 12%
Canada debt $1.3 B * 12% = $156 M
$156/5 M = $31200 per Albertan
$156/5 M = $52000 per Alberta voter
