Shahed launches from Chauda, Crimea — alerts in Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions
On May 3, 2026, Shahed drone launches were detected from Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea. The unmanned aerial vehicles are heading toward mainland Ukraine, triggering air alerts in several regions. In Poltava region, three UAVs are moving toward the town of Kotelva. In Dnipropetrovsk region, one UAV is heading toward Ternivka and another toward Zhovti Vody. Local authorities urge residents to heed air raid warnings and stay in shelters. No reports of impacts have been received so far.
