Finally got some PVA, I've been very curious to see how water soluble supports work.

It's printing seemily fine, although it looks a bit odd. I wonder if I should make a time lapse of the part where it's dunked into water.
This stuff smells weird.

@apzpins have you reduced the support interface distance to get a smoother surface? (I'm just guessing here, I don't have experience with water-soluble filament.)

@tinx With this there's no need for interface distance basically, this material will just go away. The big idea is to be able to print pieces where removing the supports would be impractical.
The Benchy here is just a tongue in cheek test piece with the most unoptimal orientation possible. It the print succeeds, I'll make a timelapse of what happens when it's put in water.

@apzpins please post a closeup of the underside after removing the supports. I'm curious how smooth it will be compared to typical supports with gaps.

I don't know how good of a time lapse this will be, but I can say there's definitely something happening in there! I see small chunks falling off and the water is all cloudy. Smells odd too.
