I know i'm more than 20 years late to the party but can we give Sony a shout out for how easy it is to service the optical drive on the PS2?

I know i'm more than 20 years late to the party but can we give Sony a shout out for how easy it is to service the optical drive on the PS2? It took about 10 minutes to open, clean, lubricate, and reassemble my PS2 and it's gone from the disc drive not working at all to now being great.
