Disappointed but not surprised to see Colbert treat Brett McGurk—a Kissinger-quoting war architect—with deference. Same old narratives: we MUST care about the Middle East. For whom? Fossil fuel access? An Israeli state that never should've existed? Meanwhile: homeless vets, record wealth disparity, military budget >50 countries combined. I want a fucking start. AOC showed us what disruption looks like—refusing assimilation, naming power, shifting what's possible. We need that in foreign policy too.
