Ultranationalist Israeli Finance Minister and head of the Religious Zionism party, Bezalel Smotrich, declared on Tuesday that one of his key objectives is to annul the Oslo Accords. He said doing so would dismantle the Palestinian Authority and establish full Israeli control over the West Bank.

Addressing a conference of settlement leaders in the West Bank, Smotrich outlined plans to end the notion of a Palestinian state, expand Israeli sovereignty, and promote emigration of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank, calling it the only viable long-term solution.
