@dokuwiki we're using a plugin for it now, and it's just OK.
@derickr@phpc.social @dokuwiki@phpc.social depending on which plugin you use it either has slightly broken HTML rendering, or is slightly cumbersome to use
so in my view this is HUGE and i'm really excited

Exactly, Markdown is not well human-readable, its syntax is odd (for example less significant headlines get more visual attention). DokuWiki syntax is better designed. But MD support may boost DokuWiki's popularity.
