Israeli war Minister Israel Katz announced that the government has approved the construction of a facility for the Defense Ministry on the ruins of the UNRWA headquarters in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.
The new facility, to be built on the remains of the UNRWA headquarters, will include an office for the minister, a museum for the Israeli army, and another for the recruitment branch.
Earlier, Israeli occupation authorities issued evacuation orders for UNRWA offices in occupied Jerusalem and proceeded to demolish them. Several ministers, including Itamar Ben Gvir, took part in overseeing this act.
