      Coverage of Louisiana governor’s efforts to cancel the election at https://www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/louisiana-governor-suspends-active-election-to-allow-for-gerrymander/.

      This is a major warning for how Republican Fascists are already showing us how they plan to prevent free and fair elections in November. 2/

        A lawsuit challenging Louisiana’s election cancellation has been filed in federal court. https://www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/louisiana-sued-for-suspending-active-election-nullifying-votes-to-draft-gop-gerrymander/ 3/

          The entire situation is so bizarre and the Roberts Court is so in the tank for Republican Fascism that I certainly am not counting on this lawsuit to stop Louisiana from cancelling an election that was already underway. 4/

            Even if federal courts do require Louisiana to resume the cancelled election, the Roberts Court and Louisiana have thrown the primary elections there into chaos. This damage cannot be undone. 5/5

              @heidilifeldman

              What's so amazing about this is their childish desperation. The jig's up. It's over. You're going to lose big. See if doing the right thing for once saves you from political destruction. Impeach.

                    @heidilifeldman When this is over, those six need to join Trump, Miller, Noem, Bannon, Johnson, Cruz, Graham, and the entire ironically named "Freedom Caucus" on a plane to the ICC. Add to that every Democratic politician who went along with this madness. They're already canceling elections and ICE is almost certain to be in polling places. America is like occupied France during WW2. We need a resistance movement in tune with that one.

                      @heidilifeldman The omission of Pete Kegbreath from the list was an accident. My apologies.
