    I get the Kindergarten Bulletin for my younger kid’s class. It talks about how they're teaching adding and subtracting to 10. My second grader taught the kindergartener multiplication earlier this year, and the younger was figuring out fractions yesterday.

      @gregatron5 Group-based education has to be, to some extent, targeted at the slowest learners. Bonus: most parents can feel pretty great about their kids' progress. I know I do 🙂
