        @blp I grew up in England, live in Scotland and love peanuts and peanut butter. Though I'm picky...I only like smooth peanut butter, rather than the one that has bits in it.

          @blp @erininstereo I grew up partly in Japan, partly in the US, and I like it (and can probably count on one hand prior who dislike it )

              @blp @erininstereo oh yeah, peanut cream is definitely a thing, usually in bready foods I'm a fan of it though I can also see why some might not be a fan

                  @blp americans i know who dislike it usually have a very dark trauma associated w it. like CSA or "this is all u get to eat"

                    @OctaviaConAmore @blp @erininstereo i remember it was impossible to get regular pb there, even in the american food sections! but what really shocked me was japan being unaware of the combination of peanut butter and ice cream!!!!

                                        I don't know about peanut butter anywhere else but here in the US it typically has a metric-fuck-ton of sugar in it. (I checked, that's an actual unit of measurement. ๐Ÿ‘€ )
