@Moaske some early comments on KittyHawk kit quality ...
    1. flash and ejector pins present.
not much flash on part edges but openings and angled edges have it. i don't mean ejector pin marks (also present but in non-visible areas), i mean the whole pin on part backsides leading to more clean-up effort before dry fit.
    2. fuselage mating surfaces are none too large. i am adding thin narrow stock to some for overlap and to maintain contour on joins.
    3. so far (with cleanup) parts fit well.
    4. styrene formula seems similar to Revell Germany kits to me.

@canadianglen @Moaske @TheNovemberMan Yes a bit of a shame with those Kitty Hawk kits as they released some subject matter previously unreleased in 1/48th. Still may be the only game in town for a few (like the F9F Cougar).

@canadianglen @FlyPastRush @TheNovemberMan I finally got back in the mood for some #scalemodelling and started clearing out all the stalled kits I'd started months ago... 😁
Like this R-11 NATO Fuel Truck and the 1/144 B-21 Raider.
Truck's almost finished, B-21 has its main coat and then there's the EF-111 that's now really ready for grey shades and some intermediate parts of the NF-5B build have been primered...

@Moaske @canadianglen @TheNovemberMan Moaske, That sounds like the stacked deck of production is finally making some headway - πŸ‘πŸ»
