      @catsalad They still exist. Saw one a couple weeks ago. Decided to walk into below freezing temperatures with damp hands, instead.

        @catsalad Oh yes. Especially in the Netherlands. Pull down a fresh clean bit of towel ? Oh no, you snatched at it. Take a time penalty.

                  @jbaggs @catsalad Seeing this video, I like the idea, but it has to be a bathroom where I at least somewhat trust them. public bathroom seems like it's asking for trouble

                    They were real! I discovered one in a bar maybe 20 years ago. At the time I wondered whether it was better or worse to wash my hands.
