        @reallyflygreg

        I keep thinking it might be fun to try and organize something, but frankly I hate organizing anything.

        That said, if I do decide to do a short out-and-back trip again I'll probably put out an invite.

        That's less convenient than trying to find dates that work for everyone, but it sure takes a lot less effort and frustration. πŸ˜…

          @Daveography @reallyflygreg
          Does this seem like a manageable trail with my folding bike: knobby tires, but limited recent off-road biking experience. Or should I just stick with the paved Legacy Trail? I think I'll make my way down through the Rockies beginning on the May long.

            @EllenInEdmonton

            It's been a few years but from what I recall, there was nothing really technical; pretty wide trail, only a few short climbs.

            I do recall there being long gravel stretches, though, so I imagine it would be pretty bumpy.

              @Daveography
              Thanks. That sounds like it could be manageable. Right now, I'm collecting all of the ideas of what I can do in the Rockies. Actual choices often come down to weather and energy levels.

                @EllenInEdmonton @Daveography what kind of folding bike? From experience, I know that Terns have rather flimsy hinge joints, and a lot of bumpiness might not be good for it.
