The difference these make to a walkable suburb versus one which makes you take long detours on foot is really underrated.

@heliomass We have a decent number of those kinds of paths in Waterloo Region. But I didn’t have any idea where’re apthey were until I started using @CyclingGuide to ride around. Those paths really make getting around a low-stress joy.

@uxmark @CyclingGuide Interesting. I guess it may vary between suburb. I’ve walked through a few in Greater Montreal where you’re forced onto the main road to get across because there are no back routes due to all the dead ends. Miserable places.
