@NunavutBirder My birder friend here in southern Saskatchewan told me that ravens only started being prevalent here about 15 years ago. They used to be super rare. Just curious if you've seen changes in the raven population up north? (I lived in coastal BC 15 years ago, so very different bird situation)

@sundogplanets Theyโve been fairly constant in the 26 years Iโve been here. I do the Christmas bird count and most birds are in town that time of year. Consistently there are about 300 in town in the winter. Counts are a bit lower than that but you donโt get them all. High count is a bit over 300.

@sundogplanets We always had some in Roblin MB growing up. There were some that always stole golf balls of the fairways.
