i hate that the only good word for a cute guy in English is "boy". makes us sound like shotacons. yes there are words like twink but it sounds kinda bad and too stereotypical of us.
Esperanto has words like virĉjo/virjo which indicate both adult age and cuteness. (vir is man, ĉjo/jo are diminutives.
i guess the best word would be faggot but that really isn't a gender

@notavi10 Yes, with "boy" and "girl" often implying not seeing the person as an adult. (Same issue with gender-neutral words for a son or daughter.)
Twink is ok when knowing the person saying that to be queer and the recipient wanting to be considered a twink, but there are many non-twink cute men-adjacent people and a more universal term would be useful.
