I was intrigued by the original "who would you trust more?" poll by @the-unflappablewolf, attached for posterity.
I was curious to know whether this result was an indicator that Star Trek imbued the most trustworthiness, so I did a survey. I've turned the responses into a 32-team tournament, with the top responses from the survey randomised into pairs for round 1. @cassolotl Mr Roger’s v sesame st and owl house v our flag means death are a rough first round pairings. Ghibli v Steven universe too.

@cassolotl first, graphic themed shirts are a red flag to me, and really "geeky" things will tend to scare me with gamer gate and such drama

@cassolotl Hah, this is fun. Some easy choices, some hard ones. Some where I vote against the shirt-wearers of the franchise I like more, but whose fans I would trust less. Great tournament.

@cassolotl @ashiel A lot of people are still attached to the books and characters, even if they don't sort JKR. But to wear HP merch, which she gets a cut of, whether it's merch that was bought recently, or even a decade ago, is a red flag.
