Honestly, I kinda completely missed the #Artemis spectacle and I kinda do not care. Back years with #ChrisHadfield on the #ISS and what #AlexGerst did, it felt like, yeah, this is kinda unifying and nice.
With the current state of the world… I just don't know.

@rotnroll666 fwiw, my parents are completely psyched - i guess it's because the OG moon landing is sort of a defining memory for them. i feel more ambivalent about it, same as you. continuing along the iss united effort type approach would've been a stronger message, i agree.

@mknoszlig I do understand your parents. My father would be the same, I remember him telling about the Moon Landing so often. He would have enjoyed this thoroughly.

@rotnroll666 Given that Musk and Bezos are involved I hope the mission spectacularly fails while not harming the astronauts on board.
