this flowering quince is more remarkable for the flowers than the tree's structure, but blooms are kind of what the spring show is for, so i'm all for it

i am also fond of creative accent plants (kusamono / shitakusa). you can do a lot with a little, in a pretty short time. these chives complemented the funky pot nicely.
