Has anyone else noticed that YouTube now splices VERY LONG (show as "90+", some are very long indeed) skipable adverts in? The fact they put them in the middle of carefully curated to be calming childrens content is especially irritating #enshittification

Will add that I'm mostly blissfully ignorant of YouTube ads, as only ever see them on the family TV via Chromecast thing.. so this could have been how it is for a while.

@SciPolTech those are specifically designed for the "YouTube in the background as a TV" use case.. Just spamming brains with ads.
