Google I/O for those that didn't watch.
@protonprivacy I was hoping that at least I could put the “-ai” ask in my searches.

@lastdinosaur @protonprivacy The glasses shouldn't change anything here. The top image should be what the glasses show but it'd be replacing something like the google logo or some photo of a chick on a computer that's selling you something.
But in this reality the manipulative, subliminal text is just what they show. This is Trump's world now and so the demons taking over aren't hiding.
At no point in the movie did the glasses reveal explanation of the subliminal messages.

@tiretpointtiret Drive for Linux? It's an online storage solution; you need a browser, not a native app. You seem too fixated on something that's not a problem
@DaMu tbh i don't even need Drive at all. But there are still Windows, Android, iOS & macOS version of it (and people using it despite our opinion on its uselessness). But nothing for Linux. And it kinda bothers me, when i take some of my precious time to think about it.

@amazing_helenab@mastodon.social @protonprivacy@mastodon.social Google's search seems to have removed most of the
-<TYPE>options since the lockdowns. At least DDG still supports those kinds of search-modifiers. -

@triple Lumo is a privacy-focused AI tool. It's a new and extra thing you don't have to interact with if you don't want, but given what people were talking to chatbots about, a privacy-preserving one has to exist.
It's fundamentally incomparable to changing an extant product.
Funny how the fellow-kids level of unfunny shitposting stopped for proper-grammar PR-speak for this one.
-
@tiretpointtiret @protonprivacy @triple a big question is how to train artificial intelligence with no user data?
@kambingramah @tiretpointtiret @protonprivacy @triple easy: don't! Hope this helps.

@protonprivacy @triple you think you will start renewable energy or something eco?

Google I/O for those that didn't watch.
@protonprivacy I just wish it was possible to find things that are 100% ai free.
I'm fine with people being able to opt into ai functions by downloading something separately if they want to use it but when it's pre installed and you're hoping the off switch is not a lie it's really uncomfortable.

@protonprivacy You have asked a lot about Lumo in the survey. So, it would be great if you would avoid posting such populism.

the rest is on you.
