    I'd love to have total user control over the appearance of duplicate boosts in my #Mastodon feed. There is a setting ("Group boosts in timelines") that helps reduce it, but it's not very transparent or flexible. It's become less effective, and I see the same boosted post dozens of times in a day.

    I'd like a setting where I can say "display boosted posts no more than N times per M hours." I'd be using 1/24.

      @johnefrancis I mostly throw a 12- or 24-hour mute on accounts that get boosted like that. That’s likely client-specific, though (using @MonaApp on iOS/macOS).
