Playing with a tiling pattern for today's #inkyDays drawing. I liked it so much that I started one on watercolor paper.

I love playing with patterns growth and decay in my artworks. It usually looks like growth, but while working with these tile patterns I'm thinking about elegant decay and the unearthing of ancient tile mosaics.

While working on these tiles, I was also thinking of Vera Molnar, for today's #inkyDays drawing. I liked the result so much that I decided to try it out on watercolor paper too.

Wow! The Artemis II landing yesterday was amazing! I love that they named the vessel "Integrity". Shining a light on all of the experts and expertise that made this collective effort happen. Showing what we can accomplish together, with integrity.

For today's #inkyDays drawing, I'm playing with a pattern inspired by the main chutes.

Playing with the Artemis-inspired pattern again in today's #inkyDays drawing. Mixing in some different colors and starting another piece on watercolor paper.

This one ended up looking more like little pieces of candy than like parachutes to me. A fun abstraction.
