For years I was labeled by our health system as the "boy who cried wolf" until my cardiac arrest while being dismissed per usual.

Last night I went to Emergency with concerns about reaction to new medications.
How things have changed. I was immediately rushed to testing, examinations, monitoring and comfortable care.

I was told that because of my recent "I told you so" moment that they no longer take any chances with my concerns. I was right about the meds.

    Thanks?

Thank goodness you have stuck to your guns and insisted on being your own best advocate.
