Did anyone else catch the reference to 'Natural Law' in the response to this ruling by the separatists?
Natural Law - the basis for life, liberty, and property rights - distinguishes itself from laws made by governments.
This will be the basis of their rejection of Treaties.

Not to mention Danielle Smith styles herself as a libertarian who listens to the people (like Doug Ford claims) but has no qualms about exercising government authority to force various policies on the population.
