@snaprails I'll have you know I pulled out a map to follow your route.

@nxskok The guides with maps are here :
          https://www.innerlondonramblers.org.uk/ideasforwalks/capital-ring-guides.html

The route is also on https://www.openstreetmap.org/

I downloaded a set of .gpx files from somewhere and have them on my phone in #CoMaps which helps not getting lost where the waymarks are missing or hidden. 🙂

@snaprails I just looked at the guide for the walk you did. Very detailed. They clearly don't want you to get lost.

@nxskok They’re pretty good and from time to time they go out, resurvey them and publish updates. Same for the London Loop. They also publish reports online of temporary obstacles and diversions and I have submitted such in the past.
Of course with the Ring being 75 miles long and the Loop twice that there will always be places where the way isn’t clear for one reason or another, it’s good to have confirmation in hand that you’re still on track. Also I hadn’t initially planned to carry on to Balham so didn’t have the guide for S5 with me.
