Hi there
@gamingonlinux Please let us know if the plastic still feels cheap and shitty (very scientific term) and the shell edges are a bit sharp and abrasive.
This is a gripe I have with the original SCs I have but I haven't seen a review commenting either way on it yet

Hi there
@gamingonlinux is there any chance you're planning on testing it on Android ? I'd be curious to know if it's compatible.

@VileLasagna @gamingonlinux ¢¢: not being clipped or welded (hello stadia!), but only screwed closed, I think it'd be relatively normal to have sharp edges on the joining line.
Nothing opening and a fine file can't solve, tho.

@ozone89 @gamingonlinux Technically they all do, but it's a matter of quality of the finish. Right now I have 2 DS4s, 2 original SCs and one Switch Pro controller
Of these three types, the Steam Controllers are the only ones whose physical feel and construction bother me and it always contributed to me not using them as much as I hoped I would've. Once I got those DS4s they basically lived forevermore in the drawer

Hi there
@gamingonlinux
Wow !
I would be very interested in knowing if it works on linux outside of steam. I won't buy it if I can't use it to play my GOG/Heroic games. -
Hi there
@gamingonlinux if you're taking questions for an article: does the controller work without steam? Are all the features available?
A lot of controllers on linux require steam, because valve ships userspace drivers with it, which is great, but also opens a big security hole, since steam has to have access to uintput and can inject fake keystrokes, mouse movements, etc. so I'm curious how useful the controller would be without that -
Hi there
@gamingonlinux Is it good
