@kottke Isn't it amazing how people worked hard at science to give us all so many amazing things and then a bunch of ignorant fools just throw it all away because they don't easily understand those things?
Worse: their ignorance is ultimately driven by those who profit off of them, selling them scam remedies and cures because people have to be pushed to disregard actual science before they're going to believe the scammers claiming it's all a lie but here's a magic pill they'll sell instead.
