    On his field trip to the USA, CPC MP Jamil Jivani went on Breitbart to explain his Charlie Kirk incel clone tour of Canadian universities:
    “We started planning it before the great Charlie Kirk was assassinated; rest in peace. But… in the aftermath of that tragedy, there were so many Canadian students who spent their entire lives watching him on YouTube, and wanted to honor that same commitment to free speech and free debate that he represents,” Jivani said. “So we got so many invitations to go to Canadian universities and colleges, and we’ve been doing this tour since October now, very much like Charlie did." #cdnpoli

          @AlisonCreekside
          Why on earth the government added legitimacy to this quisling’s trip by offering him an official briefing is beyond me.

            @AlisonCreekside So he considers a Canadian tour honouring Charlie Kirk to be part of his job description? People voted for an MP and instead got a Turning Point USA spokesperson? Who's paying his salary again?

                @pinhman @AlisonCreekside In Australia our right does the same thing, "You like hate? We've been watching US politics and hate seems to be going alright for them, how about more hate, yeah?". Australia learned from the last US election and said, " No thanks!" and turned further left. It was a bloodbath for the right. Our right imploded and then reformed, weaker. If we can just keep the right weak enough then they shouldn't be able to hurt us ever again.

                  @chrisp @AlisonCreekside Neither Canada or Australia has the well financed and widely supported outrage machine of extreme
                  right wing media. The far right is dependent upon building and sustaining a well curated and thoroughly managed ignorance to support the outrageous and immoral. Fox, Newsmax, OANN …

                  Canada has Rebel News, TrueNorth .. but these pale to the US outrage machine.

                    @chrisp Canada’s conservative party has a long standing policy to defund Canada’s public broadcaster the CBC. The CBC has many faults and biases but it at least makes an effort to identify the misinformation and bias that conservative positions hinge on

                    The conservatives shout bias & just-one-side at accuracy, thoroughness and understanding.
