Shooting attack and hostage-taking in Kyiv
A shooting attack and hostage-taking incident has occurred in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. An unknown man armed with an automatic weapon opened fire on people on the street. Following the initial attack, the perpetrator stormed the Velmart hypermarket and took hostages inside. Video footage from the scene shows the attacker running through courtyards and shooting people at point-blank range.
