I have a decent vps that I bought on a sale a few years ago and keep it. It’s too beefy and cheap to let it go. But I’ll be hornseogglednif I can figure out what to do with it. I’ve used it as a dms server, an encrypted mail server, an AI sever, I already have a Nextcloud server…but nothing really sticks. Looking for ideas for hobbies or wherever to use is for. What would you use a random Linux box for if you had one?

@pl hmm tor node. That’s intriguing. I’ve run a dark web site before (for kicks) but never a tor node. Interesting idea!
I hadn’t thought of cloudron either. I have a yunohost server running with a bunch of toys on it. The main domain being a SearxNG engine.
Thanks!
