Understanding yourself and knowing what you want can lead to a dating profile that is more of an essay or even a novel. While I do have a draft of such an essay on my phone, this is not how I want to do it. Words can easily be misunderstood and there’s a lot of nuance to most topics. Getting to know a person takes time and I prefer to do that in the form of a dialogue.
So, if my Mastodon profile and the content I posted seem appealing to you, feel free to send me a dm (@me) and find out if we are a good match for a friendship or relationship online or IRL. You don’t have to agree on everything, I like to be challenged and explore new perspectives.Boosts are welcome, it’s not easy to find your people as an AuDHD person.

@KaCi
I agree with your approach and over many years of dating only found the right person for me (and vice versa) by dropping all my preconceptions. You probably know your needs better than I did, but they may be different in a relationship, and relationship helps reveal this.In fact it was only through 15 years of us struggling that we really found what each of us needed and realised the overlap was really good. So we marry next week

I wish you luck and fun.

@KaCi Thanks, I am quite amazed to be here and hope it means everyone, including those with what seemed for me to be so many disadvantages and difficult traits can have this if it's what they want.
Not just a relationship, but the kind of honesty and love I dreamed of as a child but gave up on in an allistic world where such honesty is elusive and hidden away by masking.
I know for some ND folk they are happy and content alone, but I always wanted this.
