Diary of an AuDHD Squirrel. Day 902 , Friday 17/04/2026

Friday started at crack of sparrows fart - aka 06:00, this was because I had to give Mrs S a lift into work so I could have the car to get me to the gym for my 1st session

The gym session was great, Lee the trainer was really helpful & understanding.

I also met 2 guys I used to work with decades ago when I was still living with my parents on the other side of the hills! I have not seen them in 25 years or more & to find out that they have been living in the valley is amazing!

We had a great time reminiscing & the hour passed really quickly.

Lee reckons that I should aim for 2 or 3 sessions a week so I will have to try & work that into my routine!

While it was a good session there were lots of folk there & I was a little overwhelmed so
I spent this afternoon decompressing by fly ing around the milky way.

Pizza for tea with one of Mrs S’s cop shows & then an ep of ‘All Creatures Great & Small’ to end the evening with.

    Final Thoughts.

While it was brilliant to see Neil & Bill again after all these years the prospect of regularly interacting with them is daunting bordering on outright anxiety. I feel that I will be judged & found very wanting.
    Time will tell.

I am going to try & get to the gym at least 3 times a week, maybe even get down every day since I have full membership … we shall see.

The exercises Lee had me do seem to have fixed my leg! I need to see if it plays up tonight but certainly at the moment is seems like an almost magical cure.
The downside is that obviously my excuses for not doing the garden have now evaporated!

I was travelling in search of a new ship in Elite, but having done some reading rather than going for the Alliance Challenger, the Krait Phantom seems the better ship - if only for the fabulous name! (Although I am disappointed that it lacks the coffee machine that it’s variant the Krait MkII has apparently! 😆 )

Thank you to all those who are helping me on this journey, in a myriad different ways. I am thankful to each & every one of you! 🫂 🫶🐿️🖖
