#KashPatel, the FBI director, filed a $250 million defamation suit against The Atlantic on Monday over an article that claimed excessive drinking & unexplained absences were jeopardizing his job. A spox for the publication said The Atlantic stood by its reporting & would defend itself & its #journalists against a suit it called “meritless.”
