Is there anything you want to know more about? Ask me questions, tell me fun facts.@hpod16 I took the train from Schiphol Airport to Amersterdam for a few Cdn $. On the return the conductor asked for considerably more. "Why so much?"
"This is First Class"
I looked around and replied "THIS is First Class?"
So he charged me the regular fare.
In Canada there's no class, everyone gets a comfortable seat. -

For example:
When was the first accessible toilet on trains?
When was the first pay-to-use toilet in train stations?
How are they designed? And why?,... -

I'm pretty sure it was steam. It was so cool ! And kind of deserted - very few people on board. Will never forget that day. I wonder what you can find what trains ran in Mexico during that time and what happened to them ? or that one ? -
