@soatok I'm not immediately convinced that this is going to be a problem because it would be challenging for chatgpt to give worse advice than frustrated men are already giving each other on incel forums.

@0x2ba22e11 @soatok I think the reason this could be worse than the incel thing is that unlike incels who are (rightfully) excluded for their opinions, chatGPT is more socially acceptable within the normal population. So, even if it can give better advice, its tendency to agree with the prompter, its biases from its training on misogynistic data, and its corporate owners might result in chatGPT influencing even more people than incel ideology did.
