          @denissalem je ne sais pas encore ce qu'on va faire dans Haiku. Ignorer cette loi? Mettre un message sur notre site web pour dire que l'utilisation en californie est interdite? Mettre en place use case à cocher "j'ai plus de 13 ans ou je n'habite pas en Californie" dans l'installeur? D'autres idées amusantes?

              @pulkomandy Je serais partisan d'ignorer la dite loi. Comme on ignore l'hégémonie des ayant droit sur la culture et la merdification que ça implique en piratant la dite culture.

              Le logiciel libre a toujours eu pour fondement un acte de piratage. Qui est un geste politique, et c'est le moment de le réaffirmer.

                @raspbeguy @denissalem Most operatives systems are developed by foundations or companies based on California. Linux foundation is american afaik. Gnome, and probably other fundations/institutions developing DEs, are also based in California.

                If they don't comply they'll get fined. With amounts small for Big-IT, but significant for non-profits. So they surely will comply.

                    @denissalem All the government can do besides asking Distros to comply, which 90% won't, is to block the websites to download the Iso and /or the flasher.
                    the government has done zero research on #Linux and expect it to be #Microslop.
                    just get a #VPN and if you want, download a bunch of Iso's if you're really worried but controlling what operating systems people use is way over the government's head.
