“Meta patented an AI that lets you keep posting from beyond the grave”

For the love of all that’s good, make sure you leave your passwords to someone you trust after you die so they will delete your accounts.

I am so tired of saying, “this is beyond evil.”

Meta patented an AI that lets you keep posting after you die

Meta was recently granted a patent for tech to keep your social media accounts running using AI if you take a break or die.

@CStamp at this point the harsh truth is that people still using meta products are complicit in this ever expanding evil and need to delete accounts now not later.

@brad The idea is that you, as the follower, will have no idea, you will think you’re still interacting with someone who is dead but who you don’t know is dead.

@CStamp Presumably someone would be paying though, either to set this ghoulish monstrosity up to pretend to be them while they're busy snorting cocaine off supermodels' toilets, or to pretend to be their dead relative.

Or their ex-girlfriend pre-breakup. Jesus wept, I just grossed myself out all over again.
